Introduces students to the creative uses of Artificial Intelligence. Students from across the creative disciplines will learn how to creatively use text, image, and sound based Artificial Intelligence tools. In order to make informed and critical creative use of these tools, students will read about and discuss the discuss the complicated ethics, bias, privacy, intellectual property issues related to AI. Tools explored may include: large language models for text generation, generative adversarial networks for image creation, and audiovisual deep fakes.
