Latin American Psychology

An introduction to Latin American Psychology. Similarities and differences between traditional Americanpsychology and Latin American psychology will be determined and discussed. Emphasis will be placed on describing the development of Latin American psychology as distinct from American and European approaches in terms of: Sense of urgency, political and liberation psychology, decolonization, and research methods such as participatory action research.
