Description
Explore the principal issues and debates in writing pedagogy and scholarship. Students will come to understand rhetoric and composition as a discipline of study, along with the field’s key scholars and areas of study. Additionally, students will learn about major themes in the field of writing studies, such as personal writing, multicultural learners, multimodal composing, and many others. The course will also focus on students’ own writing processes through peer workshops and multiple assignment drafts.
