Description
An examination of the nature and process of scholarship and research in the multiple disciplines that comprise the spectrum of pure and applied arts and sciences- including creative arts, humanities, mathematics, social sciences, natural sciences, and technology - and their interdisciplinary connections, both subtle and profound. Students will be engaged in various stages of independent scholarly work. Through interactions with peers, students develop communication skills and position their own research and scholarship within a broader context of human inquiry. Prerequisite: Completion of at least 45 credits and permission of the instructor.
