Social Work Field Practicum II

16 field hours; 4 creditsA continuation of the Field Practicum I. Students are expected to spend a minimum of 240 hours during the semester (16 hours per week) in the agency. Direct interaction with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds, reflective supervision, and process recordings will aid the student in developing greater cultural awareness and sensitivity. Students will gain skills while working under the instruction of professional social work practitioners who are "teachers" in the field in conjunction with the guidance of the Social Work faculty at CSI. The Practicum will be graded as Pass/Fail.
