Health psychology is the study of the relationships among cognition, behavior, social environment, and health. The class will focus on the interaction between social/psychological factors, stress, immunology, and diseases. There will be an emphasis on how health professionals can promote health-enhancing behaviors and modify health-compromising behaviors. Pre- or corequisite: PSY 100.
