Contributions of psychology to the study of disabilities will be discussed in a framework including physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities. Topics may include the measurement of intelligence, eugenics, mental disorders, nomenclature and diagnosis, treatment methods coping strategies, cross-cultural issues, and quality of life and activism of people with disabilities and their families.
