Urban Geography

Description

A study of urbanization, urban growth, and urban form, both within the metropolitan area and as part of a system. The course examines how societies shape space to employ their human and physical resources to develop their urban landscapes and how old patterns are replaced by new ones as a result of economic, political, and social transformations. The course will cover urban geography in several societies. (FUSR)
